Did you know the adhesive in MOST envelopes and tea bags is made of wheat paste? I just learned that and called the manufacturer of the envelopes I use. They were very kind and indeed confirmed that envelopes are now a threat to my daily life. As for the tea, it is recommended to use loose tea or tea bags that have been stapled shut. For years I have purchased teas from Yogi Organic and I was thrilled to see they are stapled.
